Is this Cool or What!

Is this Cool or What!

Today has been a bittersweet day.  The first of our Rascal x Sky litter has gone to be with her new owners, our good friends, Clay and Selene Peck.  She (black girl) will be well loved and is in a really great place.  But, it is still tough to let these little bits of heaven go. So check out the cool picture of Green Girl as she was retrieving a bird wing this morning.  Deb can take some pretty cool pictures.

Two more of the pups will go to their homes early this week.  They are such a blessing.

Rascal lives up to her name each and every day. However, she did surprise us and has been an absolutely wonderful mom to the puppies.

Puppies!

One of the females from the Rascal/Sky litter

Rascal and Sky’s puppies are reaching the age of leaving the nest, and are everything we hoped for and more. There are 5 girls and 3 boys. All are healthy, active and sociable dogs.

They are very similar in look and size.  There are no runts or obviously different looking puppies.  They are all curious and cuddly.  Come visit us and see them.

Thought an update on the Sky x Rascal litter would be good. The puppies are in great homes, doing well and loved by their new families. We couldn’t be more blessed with the  homes and owners these puppies went to. We did keep one female, Garmin. She is a little bundle of energy like her mom in a body that looks like her dad. We have been very pleased with her drive to retrieve and her desire to please. Check out her page for more photos. Videos will be coming soon.

Well as the Rascal x Sky pups start their ninth week of life we now have only two or three here that are not reserved (we may keep one or not!).  Two more darlings went to very special homes last week.

PJ as we called him (he looked a little like his uncle Pete) went to our long time friends, business partners, hunting buddies and field competitors Mikk and Peggy.  If he is worthy, MAJOR (his new name) will compete in Hunt Tests and possibly Field Trials.  Mikk and Peggy also raise service dogs and are just incredible dog lovers.

Little brown girl has gone home with new friends Wendy and Andrew in the Denver area.  ZOEY (her new name) is being loved upon by Wendy and Andrew and their three energetic young boys.  She will be treasured.

Keep posted as more of these little ones go on to new adventures.
