HORSETOOTH’S JUST DO IT (NIKE)

We are somewhat reluctantly selling this outstanding young All Age prospect.  Nike is an almost four (4) year old black son of  FC AFC Tartan’s Prime Time (Prime). He won a 35+ dog qual last fall and has been running Opens and Ams this spring.  He has been on Kenny Trott’s truck for all of his competitive life.  Kenny named him as the “most improved” on his winter trip to TX last year.

Nike is a strong, fast and powerful young guy.  He is a marking machine with just the right amount of trainability.  He is ready to win at the All Age level.

Nike has four litter mates that are also QAA and three full siblings from the first breeding of Prime and Danny that are All Age Pointed. In the field there are really not any holes in this cool young guy.

There are two reasons we are selling him.  First, we are scaling back our involvement in competitive field trials considerably, and this guy deserves a home where he can compete regularly.  Second, our dogs are house dogs, and Nike has three incredible golden retriever house mates.  Guess what he is not a golden and he really does better when he lives in kennels and on a truck.  It is not that he is not house broken, or chews things up or anything destructive, but rather that he is just full of nervous energy.  He also does not like strangers coming to the house.  He barks and acts like they are going to harm him.  So, when we have guests, we put him in a crate, which works fine, but is just not what we do with our goldens.

We would consider a co -ownership in the right situation.  Price is somewhat negotiable, but please do not inquire if you are not a field trialer or want to be.  We are not desperate to sell him, and we want to make sure he goes to a great home.
